Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of localhost:3000 and any purchase made from Maanik. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Shipping Policy, Return Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Orders & payment

All orders are prepaid. Payment is made at checkout through our payment gateway using any of the available payment methods. We do not offer cash on delivery.
An order is confirmed only when payment is successfully verified. If a payment fails or is not completed within the payment window, the order is not placed and no amount is captured; any amount debited by your bank in such cases is auto-reversed by the gateway.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include all applicable taxes. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
We may cancel an order if the product is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if a pricing or listing error occurred. In such cases the full amount is refunded.

2. Shipping

We ship across India. Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours and are normally delivered within 4–5 days. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather or events outside our control. Please ensure your address and mobile number are correct; re-delivery caused by incorrect details may be charged.

3. Returns & refunds

Every order is covered by our 7-day return policy. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and checked.

4. Products

Our jewellery is fashion jewellery made from base metals with anti-tarnish plating and stones such as cubic zirconia, glass or shell pearls, unless a product page explicitly states otherwise (for example "925 Sterling Silver"). It is not solid gold or natural diamond. Colours may vary slightly from screen to screen. Keep pieces away from perfume, chemicals and prolonged water exposure for the longest life.

5. Accounts

Access to your account is by one-time password sent to your mobile number or email. You are responsible for keeping that device secure. Please keep your contact details up to date so order updates reach you.

6. Reviews & user content

By submitting a review, photo or other content you grant Maanik a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the site and in our marketing, and you confirm you own it and it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may moderate, edit for length, or remove content at our discretion.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the site — designs, product photos, text, logos — belongs to Maanik or its licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maanik's liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Consumers retain all rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
